Last Saturday, golfers played a 3-player Ambrose Event.

Back to wintry conditions, golfers were still able to enjoy the very best of playing conditions after recent and ongoing works of freshly mown fairways and recently sanded scrapes in preparation for the upcoming weekend Tournament.

For the first Saturday over the past month, enjoyable golfing conditions welcomed golfers to the August Monthly Medal event.

Golf last Saturday returned to a two-player teams format with players in eager competition for the Clubs’ 4BBB Championship – a major Honour Board event in the golfing season.

Excellent golfing conditions welcomed golfers for the July Monthly Medal event – with John Arnold, as the event winner – to play other Monthly Medal winners in the Medal of Medalists final on 2 November this year.

Saturday’s play was cancelled because of unplayable conditions with the sandscrapes covered with water and rain forecast for the duration of the day.
