The golf course is rapidly improving after the heavy rain last week, and perfect weather has made for good golfing conditions this week.
Our last Goldfields Triples event for the season was held on Wednesday 13 April.
Returning after the Easter weekend break a showery day greeted a good field of players for the April monthly medal.
Great results for golfers from getting into the swing
Participation in this year’s Hole-in-One event, a major activity within Maldon’s Easter Fair Program, had been eagerly awaited by golfers.
The Community Bowling Club BBQ held last Friday saw a large group enjoy the perfect weather.
Another enjoyable Autumn day for golf saw players enjoying comfortable playing conditions, albeit with the drier fairways and plenty of run on the ball.

Last Saturday’s event was individual Par – maybe not every golfer’s favourite event due to the ‘cut-throat’ scoring format – but a great opportunity to challenge the course conditions and capitalise on the extensive ‘run’ available from the dryness of the fairways.
