Friday 17 May was the day for the Autumn Challenge between Maldon Pétanque Club and Castlemaine U3A.
After a very chilly start to the day, the temperature rose to a balmy 14 degrees, when a hardy group of Piste Artistes gathered on the Penny School piste to play a couple of games of social pétanque.
Counting family, friends and players, over 100 people gathered at St Brigid’s Church last Saturday for the third Maldon Petanque Club tournament.
