Algae at Laanecoorie Reservoir
Warning signs at Laanecoorie Reservoir indicate that people should approach with caution after Goulburn-Murray Water detected high levels of blue-green algae. People and pets should avoid direct contact with water and seek an alternative supply; boiling does not render the water safe for use. Wash affected skin immediately in clean, cold water if contact occurs.
