It was a still evening at Cairn Curran Reservoir when Newstead photographer Geoff Park recently snapped these beautiful photos of black swans on the lake. “It was wonderful to be able to watch the swans preening and stretching – the idyl only broken by the sight and sound of European Carp breaking the surface at regular intervals,” Geoff said.
