Maldon Golf Club: Frank Fitzpatrick Memorial Golf Day

You would not have known last Saturday was the first day of winter.

A solid round of golf from Colin Francis resulted in him edging out Steven Moore by one shot in the Stroke Event last Saturday, with other golfers left in their wake and trailing by several shots.

Last Saturday’s event was individual Par – maybe not every golfer’s favourite event due to the ‘cut-throat’ scoring format – but a great opportunity to challenge the course conditions and capitalise on the extensive ‘run’ available from the dryness of the fairways.
