The Seniors Festival came to an end last week and in Newstead it was marked by a talk about falls and how to avoid them, presented by an exercise physiologist from Dhelkaya Health, followed by a lively set of music with the band Maine-ly Ukes.

ST BRIGID’S SCHOOL HALL
On Sunday 16 May 1915 the Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne Dr Thomas Carr opened and blessed the new school hall at St Brigid’s, (now St Brigid’s Hall).
