Maldon Garden Club member Andrea McKey certainly gets creative in her garden.

Andrea has been very busy lately creating some amazing pieces for her garden out of recycled material.

“A friend gave me a cup, bowl and tureen she had broken so I nibbled them into sort of half pieces and secured them onto an old fence post (cup) and an old kitchen cupboard door (tureen, bowl and a $2 op shop mirror) and I planted succulents and violets in them,” she said.

Andrea also found some clogs in various op shops, screwed them to the fence and planted in them as well.

“Lastly, I made a glass birdbath bowl and used an old fencepost, some long screws and chair leg rubbers to hold the birdbath in place. Voila!”
