The Newstead Arts Hub burst into life last weekend for the opening of the inaugural ‘It’s a Small World’ Sculpture Prize & Exhibition. Located in the renovated former Newstead railway station, the Hub has a history of connection, and this insight inspired the theme explored in the competition. The idea was driven by passionate board member, Jen Diver, and with the space creating a platform for the community to connect and explore creativity, artists were invited to delve into what a small world means to them.
