An Elder of the Dja Dja Wurrung, and an active member of the Castlemaine community, Rick moved back to Castlemaine from Melbourne in 2000, where he was working as a sound engineer. He has worked with many bands and  indigenous artists including Archie Roach, Shane Howard and Kutcha Edwards.
